That explains A LOT

This may come as a surprise to some, others will find it somewhat amusing, others will not believe it, others may be shocked, some will not care, others will laugh,  some will mock, others will smile, some will give thanks, some will curse, some may cry, but the bottom line:  it is true.

Man was made from the dust of the earth

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Woman was made from bone

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.

This is an elementary principle, which explains so many things, for if we do not get this right, then literally all hell  will break loose. Hey wait a sec, we do not get this right, and all hell HAS broken loose.

To those of you who say there is no real difference between men and women, all I can say is  hmmmm. Really? You going and staying with that?

Oh, and while we’re here, the animals were created before Eve, and guess who named woman? Yep, Adam. Thank God for such help lest we be in darkness.  Men are from Mars? Heck no, Adam was from the earth.  Now Eve, that’s another story for another time………lol

  1. LOL, well said. If you ever need more evidence of the kindness and affection God has for men, well he knocked Adam out before removing that rib. He didn’t have to have to you know, He’s God, he could have just popped that thing out and Adam would have recovered eventually 😉

In all seriousness however, there’s something in the bible I refer to as God’s anesthesia. In His mercy, He sometimes puts people to sleep before they suffer too much. He does that to Stephan, too, when he’s about to be stoned. Stephan sees the glory of God and promptly falls asleep. These stories were written long before humans discovered anesthesia, which kind of fascinates me.

Excellent observation about the suffering. Tkx for that.

Years ago a fellow mentioned this kind of thing in regard to death, and the thought occurred to me about ‘grace to help in time of need,’

where one never experienced it because it was never needed! Right in tune with what u said.

But I didn’t even touch on the connection between bones being firm yet fragile, and the female. Then there is the man. I suppose there is a whole lot more that could be said- but a huge percentage of folks don’t have a clue as to the make-up

The makings of a book 😉
