He called his wife Eve

Right out of the gate and without controversy or apology insanitybytes22 says ‘Adam called his wife’s name Eve.’

Yep, the seedplot of humanity and scripture handled artfully here in the usually unpredictable but always delightful posts by this writer.

To my friends and faithful readers, if you have not met this author, fasten your seat belt; if you have, well, there is that choir thing.

This is a real good and thought provoking reminder of the wisdom of God in the creating of the sexes. Oh heck, enough already, enjoy this post.

See, there's this thing called biology...

“And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” I do so love this passage and the sweetness to be found there. What is more life affirming, more loving, more honoring, than to be called “the mother of all living?”

Poor Eve however, she is much maligned and misunderstood in some quarters. Some blame Eve herself for the fall of man, some view her as an evil temptress prone to lead men astray, and some perceive the very living itself to be an evil and malevolent thing. Who do you blame for all this perceived evil, malevolence, and human suffering? Why, the mother of all living of course.

Eve is not the Creator by any means, she is more like a conduit, the one chosen to bring life into the world, to love and nurture it, to “mother.” She does not do this alone…

You have just improved my stature on WHY moderation is needed in some corners….

Maybe you should read her essay.

Travel up the steps, go outside, sunlight does a person well; full of vitamins…………

Your tart statement is proof that darkness despises the light. Not many owls to be found at lunchtime.

I think you might have meant to say that I have proved your stance on WHY moderation is needed. This “You have just improved my stature on WHY moderation is needed in some corners….” doesn’t make a single word of sense.
And for her to make any reference to biology anywhere in his/her blog is ridiculous and insulting to people who actually know about biology. This post and blog has NOTHING to do with biology. It is theology and nothing more. To confuse and/or conflate the 2 would be, to put it in terms you can relate to, to blaspheme both concepts in the most egregious way. You can talk about tart statements all you like. It is very evident that neither of you know a damn thing about biology. Stop pretending that you do.

      @ ash-

And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not…………

But you are partly correct. The author has the drop on me as far as biology goes. She dazzles actually.

It appears that everything I just said to you has gone in one ear and out the other. Very well, have it your way. IB22 is the most amazing biologist ever.
