Don’t insult the ape

Some say apes and humans are darn near brothers. Okaaaay. Of course the reason people cling to this is to leave God out completely. They share a common heritage it is said…………their dna is almost identical in the gene pool, so it goes.  Yea, and the hyena is darn near human because of his snickering laughter. Please.

Conversations quickly degenerate into who brings the most amusing nonsense, while the gorilla oblivious to the stupidity of men wanting to steal his identity, walks about simply being what he has always been, and always will be:  a gorilla. Yep, and the same way the whale roams about the real estate of the seas doing what he knows best: just living as a whale. And the eagle? You get the drift.

The difference that disallows the ape or chimp from ever becoming human is courtesy of the wisdom of the Creator, and exposes the foolishness of man.

How many apes do you see parading a pack of humans around a three-ring circus? How many chimps are applauded for their ability to juggle 9 grapefruits? How many apes can sew a button? How many apes can tan a deer hide? How many chimps can draw plans to create the binocular? How many gorillas can assemble a tractor?  Right, zero, for the missing ingredient is the spirit of man, as well as the obvious difference in flesh.

Or was King Solomon a little mixed up when the apes and peacocks were brought to him as specimens for ‘different’ kinds of revelry? Sorry folks, the ape was not made in the image of God, the chimp is not the crown of God’s creation, nor was Tarzan’s Cheetah given wisdom, understanding, and the ability to create unlike any other creature.

The ape is not and will never be human. Don’t insult the ape.

God created all things and within them the means to reproduce after their kind. A whale is so unlike a frog, and is not attracted to that artificial whale, the Pequod, or maybe you haven’t noticed. A turkey has no interest in a coyote other than to stay away, and the eagle has better sense than to feel affection for the Kitty Hawk.

A man has no interest in hooking up with a chimp. Then again……..to prove the depraved heart of man as revealed in the word of God, some in fact do have an interest in the chimp, as do some women ‘marry’ their horses, an unnatural interest as it were, going after strange flesh, and one that suggests the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked above all things, who then can know it? Ha, God knows it, and placed within the heart of man to know it also.

The ape and man are different kinds, they are different flesh, and this so-called kinship between the two is as far from true as east is from the west. Tarzan may have lived in a tree house, but he had no interest in teaching Cheetah the skills of a master carpenter. Like the ostrich devoid of wisdom, there are certain things too wonderful for animals to comprehend.

Jane too knew the difference between Boy and chimp, and needed not a laboratory nor reams of data to convince her ‘never the twain shall meet.’

‘After their kind’ is a universal truth so obvious that even Houdini could not create a hoop large enough to hide in. Bird is bird, whale is whale, ape is ape, and man is man. One flesh differs from another, as clearly as one star differs from another.  Key word here: different, you know, the same way that male and female are different.

A man is as night and day from the ape, for only man and woman is human, sharing the same flesh, completely different but so alike. Only the magnificent mind of the Creator has entrusted to humans His image.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it Mr. or Mrs. ape whisperer.

Who cares about the so-called two percent that separates man from beast? The two percent that lacks makes one hundred percent difference, and is as clear as mountain water and twice as condemning in truth.

Yeah,  man is avianish because he created the airplane and has wings, he is soooooooooo bird like, yet one hundred percent distinct from the bird. Promoting the ape as brother to the man is a convenient way to erase the Creator from His own geniusness, and pretend that man is ever evolving. Please. Perhaps apes can be taught to fly thanks to the canary.

If man is evolving, it is downward in a quick spiral of decadence, arrogance, destruction, pride, and global harlotry of the worst kind.  As knowledge increases, so too does the heart and mind of man increase in the despising of God.  While man boasts of progress in all disciplines, God is thought to be a crutch for the mentally cripple, but aah, how many have left their walking aids for the light of day.

The ape and the chimp are not responsible for nations rising up against nations; leave them alone as they have not advanced to such heights of  humanitarian glory.  It is an insult to the ape to suggest they are advancing toward humanhood. Why would they want to?

God created all things after their kind, and we recognize the giraffe and the elephant thanks to Adam, after all, he named them, and mankind easily bows in agreement and without dispute.

The ape is not responsible for warring nations, he is not responsible for selling tickets to the circus, he is not responsible for building hospitals, creating machines that can see the image of the unseen, or have the ability to transplant a human heart.

Please do not suggest that because an animal ‘feels’ he is somehow qualified to leave his animalhood or his beastliness at the door and advance to the realms of man. A mother duck caring for her newborn ‘lings’ hardly makes her traits human. It simply proves she is alive and well, and acts according to her nature.

Do apes and chimps have ANYTHING in common with man? Yep, all are made by the same Creator.

The ape is and will always and only be an ape. No shame here. To suggest to the ape that he is advancing toward the realm of humanity, he just may say, in the words of the once loud and colorful John McInroe: ‘YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS……………….’

(if a naysayer should happen upon this, your argument is with the Creator   😉

    Hi Colourstorm

Could you explain why chimps and humans share 98%-99% of genetic material?

Congratulations jz. You have earned the right to sit in the corner.

I posted this essay which I have been working on for a while, after considering Solomon sending for apes…………… you responded within ten seconds, and I am being overly generous; it may have been seven seconds………..meaning you could not have possibly read this post, and I’m guessing fired off your prerecorded sentence after seeing the title ‘Don’t insult the ape,’ in the which, if you would have read the post, you would have seen that your question was duly answered; not of course the answer you seek, but the correct one.

Since you think this piece is not worthy of reading, I will ask you kindly not to respond further to this post.

Well that is pretty simple. All scripture is God Breathe and is suitable for……..well everything. That comment came from God’s Word, therefore I know.

The better question is, Arch, how do you KNOW it is not so. One cannot discount the existence of an infinite God unless one is actually…infinite. Do you have all knowledge? Then to deny a being who does is impossible.

So, the question really is….How do YOU know Arch? You don’t.

So, are you going to tuck tail and run, like CS did on Violetwisp’s blog, or you going to stand up on your hind legs like a man, and discuss this on your blog, without censorship or moderation?

So you’re saying – and I’d like to hear it, just for the record – that it’s untrue that whales (as well as dolphins) were once four-legged land animals that gradually evolved into sea creatures – is that correct? Are you saying that that never happened?

I always get a chuckle out of the fact that humans share some DNA with a potato, too. Usually I can tell the difference between a spud and a person, but some sure do make you wonder if there might be nothing but mashed potatoes between their ears.

That is actually a very good observation Wally.

Being that ‘the life of the flesh is in the blood,’ according to Leviticus, and the fact that ‘God had made of one blood all nations………..’ according to Paul through the Spirit, God is once more light years ahead of the wiles of man’s unbelief.

Nice one. Let God be true, and every man a liar. It is not a bad thing to sit in the liars chair, (for a convicted moment). Lots of truth to be found.

  10. I really liked this essay, Colorstorm. Sorry, I’m still on a spud theme here, but there’s an old saying about some people being two chromosomes short of a potato. Loosely based on science, it was a saying designed to remind scientists to maintain a bit of humility about their research. We may well be wonderfully and fearfully made, but without God having breathed life into us, you could make a good argument for a potato being a more complex design. It turns out just one chromosome or a tiny fragment of DNA really does make a huge difference.

My father used to say, did an ape paint the Sistine chapel? Did he compose Beethoven’s 5th? What puts music, art, creativity in people, and what leads them to pour everything they have into trying to portray truth and beauty, to create a reflection of their Creator for all the world to see? Apes don’t do that and neither do spuds.

In other words, to borrow from the Busch family, ‘this spuds for you………..’

Ha. apology? No thanks, don’t want it 😉 But ‘apes don’t do that’ speaking of painting or portraying a reflection…………..’

Yep, ‘apes Can’t do that.’ But they can be themselves, and that is enough.

And from what little you have said about your father………he must have been a rare blend of creativity, knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, passion, and gift.

May God bless you friend, as He has.

This subject confuses me. I am puzzled when people compare people to animals. I have never heard an animal of any kind compare the members of there species to humans. Perhaps ColorStorm is right. The apes are insulted by the idea. That would explain why the spuds and the apes and every other kind of plant and beast refuses to communicate with us.

When the “experts” talk about the similarity of human DNA with the DNA of the apes, I wonder what they mean. Much of our DNA is non-coding (about 98 percent) = > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noncoding_DNA. If all but two percent is the same as that of apes, is that just the part that contains our code? Is it just noncoding DNA? Or is it just “junk DNA” that just happens to be there for reasons we find obscure? How much of this don’t we find obscure?

I am also baffled by people who don’t see much difference between animals and humans. Are the differences not obvious? Yet they claim we are just animals. If they don’t think the differences are important, doesn’t that suggest they think it is okay to behave like a beast? What a thing to suggest about one’s self?
