Silence!

Regarding his presence at the UN, Mr. Netanyahu said more in 45 seconds of silence than do other men in a 2 hour lecture.  His silence was pure gold and weighed 7 tons.

What mettle, what steely resolve, what a man whose mind is stayed on the preservation of his country. Would to God America was graced with such a leader.

As I saw him staring, yes, staring at his audience after a blistering set of truth and facts about Iran’s plan to send Israel into the sea, I sensed the realness of a sound mind, and thanked God for him in such a time as this.

Listen to Benjamin Netanyahu speak, and compare him against the mumbling and drunken stupor of any Iranian leader, and here you will see a man above men, in intellect, wisdom, bodily presence, focus, knowledge, and you must agree that his is a righteous plea for what is decent and good.

And where was the US in the audience?

May God bless him, his country, and may God turn any missile against Israel into the place from whence it came.

(If you have not seen this, do yourself a favor, but for the context, listen to the full speech, and open to full screen)

Amen. I pray also that God would lead our president away from his desire for another peace prize back to leading the country that He has given him to lead.

It does appear ‘buyers remorse’ has kicked in kathy, as far too many were eager to jump on the bandwagon of ‘the candy in the window’ (appearance) and inexperience.

But God bless USA as He has in spite of ourselves, and God bless the apple of His eye.

Interesting x1 how you see things through a broken lens of spiritual and obvious astigmatism.

Not one word about the essence of the post: Silence.

ColorStorm, does anybody on the planet every stop to think about why everybody wants to kill the Jews? I mean, really, do they? At the moment the world thinks they have a reason because of this and than…stole the Palestinian land…blah blah blah. But does anybody every just consider that, no matter where they go in the world…everybody wants them gone? Dead, eradicated, gone from existence. It’s that way now, and I has always been that way. No single group in history has ever been subject to such efforts to make them…not be. Does anybody EVER stop to wonder why?

By the way, I’m not asking because I need an answer. I know why. But does anybody else?

Yep, tons of reasons, but ultimately it is a great big fist at the Sovereignty of God, in His choosing a people and a land for His name.

And then there is we who say ‘amen’ to that………….by virtue of association, we share the disdain.

But we know that already eh, ……….it is written……in many ways, by many hands……..again, and again, and again.

I loved Netanyahu in his silence, and I thought of the silence of God; how long suffering and patient He must be.

And more so, that He (the Creator) gives men the opportunity to recognize the goodness of ‘mouths stopped.’

I wonder, as he just stared at the audience, seeming to make eye contact with every person in there….if any of them felt anything? Especially those countries who have always been allies of Israel? Did the U.S. Ambassador, for instance, feel like crawling under the desk?

          Here ya go W:

“Today, our UN ambassador, Susan Rice, did not attend the speech by the prime minister because the speeches went long today. Instead she elected to go to a lunch with foreign ministers, and so she wasn’t present,” Van Susteren explained.

And of course, neither was Mrs. Clinton in attendance. Just another reason why Netanyahu’s silence was notable.

Benjamin Netanyahu is truly a man for the times, the perfect leader for Israel as she navigates her way in an increasingly hostile and dangerous world. To compare him with what we are stuck with here in the U.S. is disheartening to say the least. But perhaps we have the right man off our time too, or at least the one we deserve with a public who voted him in to office twice.

CS — We are already being punished. When we elected leaders who hate the Jews we also elected men and women who have nothing but disdain for us. Half of them have to be on the take, including from foreign governments. Otherwise, there insane policies make no sense.

Think about what our leaders have done. Does it take a genius to realize our foreign policy is almost suicidal. What else are we to make of that time Obama told “outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he will have “more flexibility” to deal with contentious issues like missile defense after the U.S. presidential election” (http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/03/26/us-nuclear-summit-obama-medvedev-idUSBRE82P0JI20120326). Is he working for Russia or us? Russia has most certainly found our president most flexible.

Anyway, it is not just the Jews Obama hates. In fact, Obama may not have any special hatred for the Jews. More likely, he just despises anyone who does not make him look good, and besides Mr. Netanyahu our president looks very small.

Yea CT, I remember well the ‘flexibility’ whispering the day it happened, and it was uncomfortable to see. You are probably right about no special hatred, as ‘kings’ are kind of absorbed, but when appearing next to Netanyahu, yes, small seems to be a good description, and that is being kind.

Compared to Putin, remember the images of a shirtless and unhelmeted Russian on a motorcycle, and a plastic cap by the prez on a ten speed………harmless in itself, but a powerful contrast, as if to suggest weakness. Vlad has a good pr firm.

Small and weak. Not good impressions of an American, especially of one holding such a high office. May God give the US a masculine man to lead over troubled waters.

Lest I offend: May God give the US a man or woman to lead over troubled waters.

But the context was plain, ie, Putin, Netanyahu, Obama, who are male.

(by the way, your ‘strong woman’ rules out Ms Clinton, who has more ripped baggage than the Atlanta airport.)
