Eh, just a mild rant.
Ok, you have heard about it, or had the misfortune of seeing it. I was in a room where the Dem
debate cartoon was playing, and right on cue, a gift opened up for all to see. At break, the camera scans Clinton walking to her left, bathroom break, phone call, who cares? But the point was made: SHE is to be watched.
There were clearly defined parameters as to how long the candidates would be allotted before back on set. You know, kinda like commercial breaks where every second is not wasted. 3.2.1. roll. This was not a television production held by third graders. Tardiness is frowned upon at the highest levels of excellence in broadcasting.
Ready to start again, the camera pans to Clinton’s podium, and lo and behold, the center spot is empty. Awkward for David Muir, but he did a fine job of keeping to the rules of engagement and proceeded.
Sanders was speaking, (what he was saying was irrelevant,) now here she comes with arms flapping, a goofy smile pasted on her face, and she says ‘sorry.’
The immediate thought I had: ‘pure devilish, a calculated and pre-planned delayed entrance,’ yep, well thought out in advance, that SHE is the woman to be watched. SHE is the woman to wait for. SHE is the party starter. SHE is the all in all, and SHE raises her hands as if to say: ‘hey, I’m here, no biggie.’ Audience CLAPS. Seriously? The woman is repulsive. I’m guessing Mr. Muir would have liked to air what he was thinking.
On a world stage, of the many reasons she is ultimately unqualified to take the reins of the highest office, she has rather poor manners, unbecoming of a leader. And class? Well, you decide. Her sense of decorum is pathetic. She is not wise. Imagine world leaders waiting for her. In the words of that little fella of Home Alone fame: ‘I don’t think so.’ She said MORE in her delayed entrance than a month of empty speeches.
Wake up ye who see this woman as a queen. Haven’t you had enough of the boy king? Can’t you see they are but flip sides of the same rusted coin.
And as an aside, the debate complaints about the poor state of the union, and the many things the candidates will ‘do’ to fix things……….are the very results created by their own destructive policies. 4 or 8 years of Clinton? God help us.
