Some poor notes here

“Who were you talking about- Arch or CS?

If it’s CS, then I totally agree. They are the enablers and instigators of social ills, abuse, bigotry, and hate crimes;” so sez some lady who goes by the name neuronotes @ WP..

Image result for hate crimes

Oh to be considered the personal bane of Christianity. Some call me ‘CS,’ as in ColorStorm, and that is fine and good, but to be lumped in with the royal ‘THEY,’ as if I am the King of abusers, the Master of bigotry, and the instigator of hate crimes. Geez louise, to be so stigmatized for simply believing the scriptures.

THEY are the enablers of social ills. Hmmm. Five distinct charges leveled at believers for enjoying a book unlike all others. Seems I recall reading this behaviour and reaction in the very book that is despised. Oh that men (and women) would see the eternal vision of the Creator.

Worth repeating: “If it’s CS, then I totally agree. They are the enablers and instigators of social ills, abuse, bigotry, and hate crimes.”

Would somebody point out these crimes against humanity, the bigotry, the social ills, the abuse, the hate crimes. To be so chastised, surely there must be Evidence… Or is it simply holding to age-old viewpoints that are considered abuse and ‘hate crimes?’

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth? Hate crime eh?

The law was given by Moses, grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. I suppose another hate crime.

He made the stars also. Oh boy, now there is some serious abuse.

In the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Gee, to have an accord by many is what, bigotry?

Or perhaps we should not give an opinion about the inappropriateness of young girls and boys dressing or taking showers in the same room? Yeah, a real social ill here held by THOSE believers.

Why is it that the so-called intellectuals have taken upon themselves to define what is bigotry, abuse, and socially ill-fitting, when the very book that is despised gives context for all their gripes?

Or is this simply the end result of minds that complain that there are actually people who live with clearly defined parameters known as absolutes…or even simpler still, that Christianity is a hate crime?

God has a great sense of humor, doesn’t he? Rejoice and be glad! If we haven’t provoked someone to revile us, we’ve been slacking off and probably slept in or something. 🙂

Revile, yeah maybe, persecute you, eh, not so much, the last ones a biggie though, to say all manner of evil against you falsely.

I’m sure you know ms bytes there are many that are ‘worthy’ of hearing things said in an evil manner, but falsely?

Well, we have precedence in the Lord, heck people said He had a devil 😉 Yeah, good luck with that.

But I’m laughing a bit here as to slacking and sleeping as I think I have the flu. Yep, some slackin for sure!

Oooh..oooh, Am I part of the they?

    I say good company then.

    How absurd…they….they….they.

Talk about your broad brush. Isn’t it bigoted to paint an entire group with the same negative brush without any effort to actually know them?

Once again ColorStorm your deceptively lighthearted post (meant in a good way) touches on a much deeper theme, in this case the need to redefine truth by those that refuse to accept it. I just read an interesting article on this the other day on how in so many areas (transgenderism, global warming, etc…), being “moral” by today’s standards means dropping the truth for an entirely made up set of values and so new language must be put in place to accommodate such nonsense.

Yup, He made the stars also. That we can surely count on. 🙂

Tricia, you’re simply too intelligent to actually believe that —

(CS SEZ: Forget it arch- You trying to pit believers against one another are not welcome in this house. And btw, this comment to trish could be taken by some to be a cloaked slap in the face, but I’m sure T. will have a rather astute observation. Then again, does it really deserve a reply….)

A very clever, apropos title CS!
Sometimes it’s entertaining to see the very poor notes being paraded as intellect. You’ve shown how their words fulfil scripture time and again: … really “….They are the enablers and instigators of social ills, abuse, bigotry, and hate crimes.” Hmmm, talk about the pseudo-wisdom of a prideful mind apart from God.

  5. is it still ok to call you CS-??-I’m starting to get confused with all the they’s, the them’s, the us and the we’s

Yep, jewels, it is I , Jack Sparrow, (aka CS) king of the miscreants, being dubbed so by they who have committed mutiny. Arrrrrr. 😉

It would have served no greater use to link the gal from whence sprang such vitriol. Oh THOSE believers, THEY are such promoters of all societies ills. Please. And in a way, you would be one of THEM too.

Did you see ms bytes observation? Very cool.

      • I did see her observation—and I know I am a “them” or maybe that’s an “us”—or maybe that’s a “we”–anywhooo—my son was telling us of an incident this past week in one of his upper level senior poli. sci. classes–the professor, who is a loudly proclaimed atheist, an older gentlemen who is known for his acidic tongue and overall hateful demeanor–had the audacity to spew forth a diatribe to the class condemning all the Christians in the room for everything and anything that had gone wrong that day in the class. He went off on a rant and tangent during group presentations—which had nothing to do with the topic, the presentations, etc–just out of the blue drags the “thems” in front of his obviously soggy corn flakes kind of day—it’s that kind of stuff that is making me livid—here I am a mother, a retired educator listening to my son, a student in higher education, telling a tale of an older caustic bitter man who is entrusted with teacher ranting about the ills of his students who are christian verse those who are not—what any of that had to do with the lesson at hand, is beyond my soul—and yet we pay a tuition to an institution that hires these “teachers”—yes, livid—ode to the thems and the us’s…

    • archaeopteryx1 says:

Actually, there are several other pet names that some of us call him, but they probably wouldn’t be of any use to you.

(CS SEZ: Why you post perpetual and irrelevant comments, trying to fault believers, and now dangle ‘bait’ in front of julie, is beyond reason.
You may want to criticize the esteemed gal (neuronotes) who gave such ahem, cough, ‘lavish praise’ toward people of faith.

If Julie answers you fine, in the meantime, hold your peace.)

      • Hi Arch–esteemed and lavish sound rather nice—

      • archaeopteryx1 says:

Actually, Neuro does very fine research in the field of psychology, and I’ve yet to find fault with anything she’s said. You know what they say about the shoe fitting —

‘I’ve yet to find fault with ANYTHING SHE SAID.’ Perhaps you are looking for love in all the wrong places. This pillar of psychology, this wonderful researcher, inspired a post by myself which demolished her premise that the apostle Paul, yeah him, suffered from mental delusions, and temporal lobe issues. In other words, he could not be trusted. Yep, this woman is reallllll credible in discussing anything of a spiritual nature. She loathes believers and Christianity, God, the scriptures, yet some find ‘no fault.’

Well then, a man is known by the company he keeps. The post sprang from HER vitriol, yet, you find no fault in her. Typical.)

unfortunately, all this (things pertaining to life and Godliness) is ‘foolishness’ to those who are perishing and have thoroughly deceived themselves into believing they’re ‘living it up’, that they’re the ultimate & true purveyor of wisdom & knowledge.
All they’ve succeeded in accomplishing is what the word has already prophesied they’d be doing – denying their Creator; call good, bad & bad, good.
I’m laughing at the irony of this, because they’ll turn right around and tell you the Bible isn’t divinely inspired (after they’ve done everything it says they’d do).

Well A, I recall that we too were sometimes far from the promises of God, aliens as it were, having no hope, no promises, and like others children of wrath.

Yet, I do not recall ever being so militant in wanting to take from people what is precious to them.

It is one thing to ‘disbelieve,’ but yikes, to want to steal hope, joy, peace, assurance from others is just a bit too much.

This is the bottom line really, that thieves break through and steal. Fortunately, God has the keys. 😉

You’ve hit the nail precisely on the head here! We were all children of wrath, alienated from God.

And what we now have, is one militant religion (atheism) denouncing all other religions while denying their very own religiosity.
Praise God, we know He’s not the author of their confusion, Satan is. And all this stems from the deliberate and prideful attempt, first instigated by the father of lies to be independent of our Creator.

I feel extreme sadness for those they’re stealing from; those they’re deliberately causing to stumble… but this deliberate evil will not go unrewarded.

To think that an individual in 2016 can deny the existence of Christ Jesus, and that person is treated as though they have anything of value to impart to others is incredulous!
Everything such a person says should be suspect and treated with disdain.
