There is no sky!

Can you prove the sky exists? Really? Yet you talk about ‘it’ every day.

Image result for the sky

That place where the birds make their air lanes, that place that offers the most gorgeous sunsets, that place which is home to the wind; can you see it, feel it, touch it, taste it?

Can you prove it exists?  You say you see it eh? Hmmm, sounds too much like faith; gotta be careful there. It’s kinda like God, you can’t see Him, but He has laid out a million proofs whereby He can be seen. Ironic then is it not, that people speak of God every day, and swear that He is not. Yeah ok, try ridding Him from your consciousness, and more so, your conscience. Good luck with that.

Ah yes, the sky is, as God is the I AM,  and oh by the way, the clouds are but dust for His feet. And what glorious feet are they.

  1. Perfect! The sky isn’t really blue either, nor is it filled with fluffy clouds that look like kittens. Human perception is really quite limited so we do not always see what we think we see. I suspect that is why God says, “give them the ears to hear and the eyes to see.” We can have perfectly good eyes and see nothing or our fingers in our ears, refusing to listen. There’s nothing wrong with the blue sky and the fluffy clouds of course, it is just a good example of how our eyes see what they were designed to see rather than the whole picture. That pretty much demolishes the idea of, “show me the proof!” Takes a bit of humility I suppose, to understand we can’t always see the whole picture, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

When you think about it, it’s really quite wonderful that we were designed to see things the way we do. What makes the sky so wonderful, the mountains so beautiful, all the colors and textures in our world so pleasing? It could all be brown or gray or even shapeless and we would still get around just fine. So I suspect that all the beauty around us has really been placed their for our pleasure.

You nailed it ms b. ‘Placed there for our pleasure………….’ But it gets better when speaking of God: ‘For thy pleasure they are………..and were……….created.’

It’s then so easy to see ‘thou alone art worthy.

So just what exactly did the little critter mean when he said: the sky is falling………’ Even the so called fairy tales have an element of truth

  2. no ceiling on those thoughts CS because, truly, the sky is indeed the limit–as it seems to go on and on…that is passing through this sphere and the next—it is to indeed to infinity and beyond…He’s good like that

I used to love lying in freshly cut grass in the summer and staring up at the sky, playing guessing games about the cloud formations and just feeling all together part of something big and magical. I think as kids we intuitively feel and accept what God lays out for us. As adults we would be smart to hold on to that.

Nice post CS, a feel gooder for sure. 🙂

Ah yes, memmmmmmmries……..like the corner of my mind…….the simple pleasures of just looking up as a little one, or making a snow angel and being soooo proud, hoping others would share the delight.

Sounds familiar that the Creator desires others to share His delight.

Yeah, you go ahead and tell a child ‘there is no God.’ We may as well tell him/her ( 😉 that the sandcastle he made on the beach was made by the kid who threw sand in his face. Good luck selling that one to a little one.

We create ………….because……..there is this image thing……….

You’ve lost your mind. Of course we can prove the atmosphere exists, and the clouds and the sun moon and stars. False equivalency. We can see, feel and measure all if these.

      Fyi:

The clouds and the sun moon and stars are distinct from the sky. The post and common sense makes it plain.

As far as losing ones mind………..what? trade it in for total depravity? No thank you. God’s word is fine and dandy, so unlike the guesswork of useless godless opinions.

Well then, erase the word ‘Calvin,’ just observe the life and times of man in general mike.

Drop your bias, your despising of scripture, and open your eyes.

Men having ahem, relations with animals? TOTALLY depraved.

Saying there is no God? TOTALLY depraved.

A woman killing another woman for a parking spot? TOTALLY depraved.

And btw, the comment threads of many of your ‘friends………….’ things I could never even repeat: TOTALLY depraved.

        I rest my case.

Maybe you should do your own tricks mike and make a post at your place. Scripture is plain enough.

Cain murdering Abel is kinda totally depraved…………especially when his heart was deceitful and desperately wicked.

God always has the last word. And btw, once again, the men of Sodom wanting the angels: TOTALLY depraved………….

You will lose every argument against the truth of scripture.

Good for you. And then watch the ‘reprobate’ comments following. 😉

The first of Romans is alive and well; gotta love the foresight of God in describing the behaviour and recalcitrance of men.

But back on point. The sky is seen and believed the same way God is seen and believed. Proof. Evidence.

Ever heard of the EXPRESS image of His person? Sure you have. Scripture does not lack mike; our stubbornness, that’s a different story.

The express image in the camera……….(which is not seen but through faith) is the perfect picture of the true. It is a declaration of truth.

There are plenty of lessons if we pay attention and drop the ego that puts the human mind above the Creator.

Now that is odd. The book of Romans for example, is one of the greatest documents this world has ever laid eyes on……..with logic, wisdom, truth, prophecy, God’s sovereignty, law, grace, wrath; impossible to be written by man alone………and I might add……….free for the taking.
