Oh God…

More pics and facts about the sheer magnitude of God.

So the question can be asked:  ‘Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?’

Man should appear quite humbled in light of such a magnificent question. No, we have no influence over the bands of Orion. We have no power to lift a finger. God is God, and has proven Himself ten thousand times ten million, yet rebel we must, and cast Him from His own creation.

A special shout out to insanitybytes22, who has spoken fondly, and rightly so, of Orion, and He who easily proves He holds all things together in majesty.

Sweet influences? Uh, yeah, that too.

  1. Apparently we here on Earth are galactic provincials all alone out here on the perimeter.

Just happy to pass along more proof of an accidental universe, more proof from the heavens………. which reveals design and order……….. lol

And what we see is a mere speck of the glory of God.

  5. Thank you for the mention and for my favorite bit of scripture ever, “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” God is God and we are not. Somewhat amusing that we so often struggle with that simple concept. But I love that verse too, because it reminds us to have eyes full of wonder, like a child’s. Be excited and rejoice in the mystery of what we see all around us. Just as we parents are pleased to see delight in our own children, I think our heavenly Father enjoys our delight, too.

I’m sorry to say, but I’m chuckling now, because of a little inclement weather at your place…………with that in mind, take this little accolade as a nod msbytes, as a fresh doughnut, to go with your fresh coffee, poured up and waiting. 😉

It’s almost like I saw it coming, so I included a refreshment for ya, way ahead of time. lol

Reminds me of the brethren toiling all night fishing, the Lord appears on shore, and there were warm coals with baked fish: waiting. Love that.

God knows our needs yes? And agree, these pics of God’s heavens are just so awesome, it’s like seeing them for the first time every time.
