You may be intellectually cripple…

Yes, you may be crippled mentally if:

Image result for engage the brain

  1. You think rioting and looting is a fine expression of free speech.
  2. You think an elephant designed its own body.
  3. You think a whale once walked on earth like a prairie dog.
  4. You think eagles went to flight school, taking a hundred billion years of flying instruction before they were granted their wings.
  5. You think mankind was made from a pile of dew, poo, or gorilla glue.
  6. You think Nazareth did not exist at the time of Christ.
  7. You think Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were liars.
  8. You think Saul of Tarsus then Paul the apostle, either never lived, or had brain damage.
  9. You think Hitler was a fine christian.

…..and, you just may be intellectually cripple, if ……you say…… ‘there is no God.’

Simple yes. You assume ‘simple’ proves nothing. The entire world is held under subjection to simple math………….a truth that no caveman or Einstein could have invented. ‘Simple’ math proves the utter consistency and genius of God.

So yeah, ‘simple’ embarrasses your petty gripes. But you are in capable hands with SoM here just wanted to say hey. ‘

And btw, all these ideas of godlessness spring from the same pit as the Berkeley criminals; the inability to examine ones behaviour, both mental and actual, at the same time pretending it is ‘intellectual.’

Unless of course, you assert that ‘simple’ math is incoherent. Interesting.

LOL! Sorry Colorstorm, can’t help myself here. Wouldn’t “devoid of content” be akin to being a bit of biological goo sprung forth from nothingness, serving no purpose, having no meaning? Can one actually have “intellectual content” and “integrity” in the absence of God? I don’t think so, I think you’ve just established and proven your own non existence. Which is somewhat funny, because if you don’t exist, you really have no business trying to explain God’s non existence to Him.

An explanation? How about source material. Kind of like the sickness of humanity today, even with such arrogance as they who say ‘there is no God…………’

And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee….

Then of course it rained. And rained. and rained. And the waters prevailed. And the waters prevailed exceedingly.

Then there is that beautiful rainbow of promise.

But fraud? Hello? That would be the haughty who say Noah never lived. But you may want to chew on the fact that ‘men were only evil continually…………’

According to one famous atheist, ….well, here is the quote.

Stephen Jay Gould on the Meaning of Life
The Meaning of Life: According to the Great and the Good, Richard Kinnier, Jerry Kernes, and Nancy Tribbensee, eds. (Palazzo Editions: 2007), p. 108.

We are here because one odd group of fishes had a peculiar fin anatomy that could transform into legs for terrestrial creatures; because comets struck the earth and wiped out dinosaurs, thereby giving mammals a chance not otherwise available (so thank your lucky stars in a literal sense); because the earth never froze entirely during an ice age; because a small and tenuous species, arising in Africa a quarter of a million years ago, has managed, so far, to survive by hook and by crook. We may yearn for a “higher” answer — but none exists. This explanation, though superficially troubling, if not terrifying, is ultimately liberating and exhilarating. We cannot read the meaning of life passively in the facts of nature. We must construct these answers for ourselves…

Think about that. “We must construct these answers for ourselves…” Consider what we have done when we have tried to do that. Our track record scares me. I have seen enough of my own heart and the hearts of my fellows that I don’t want to live in a world where we have constructed our own meaning for existance.
