Thought(s) for the day

‘Proof’ is the incessant cry of the godless ere they admit ‘there is a God.’ Ha. As if the answers are not found in life itself. Anyway, this cracks me up.

Image result for say that again?

Many Einsteinians, Degrasses, Nyes, Hawkings, and such ilk, say the earth is a spinning globe at 1000 MPH and hurling through space at 67,000mph. Yikes. Kind of makes a sane man dizzy.

Mind numbing numbers and ideas with zero proof. Didja catch that? Zero proof. Sure, there are theories, calculations, speculations, formulas, suggestions of evidence, but nope, no proof. None. Zero. Nada. Nil. Nula. Zippo. Harpo. Chico. Yeah, its funny all right.

No proof whatsoever. Ever. Nothing observable, testable, or repeatable, such as the pillars of science demand. Therefore, the greater issue is never following the trail of absolute truth, but of erecting a smokescreen that leaves out God.

So the so-called science that the godless worships, feeds on its own dead fruit, and cannot see its own mentally malnourished world view. Example? Sure. When asked to explain gravity, Degrasse said a thousand words, talking in circles and pretended intellect, choking on his own house of cards, citing the ‘geniuses’ of yesterday,  then finally admitting:

‘We can say what it does to other things. We can measure it. Predict with it. It is the curvature of space and time. Matter tells space how to curve, and space tells matter how to move…..(then he sums it up and adds)  I don’t know what it is, no body knows, can’t explain it.’

Huh???? Say what?

Thus spoken by a high priest of ‘science.’ Do you see why scripture calls it ‘science falsely called?’  But he is ‘certain’ the earth spins at 1,000 mph.  He is certain the earth hurls through space at 67,000 mph. Again, having ZERO proof.  Observable? Nope. Testable? Certainly not, and a thousand times no. Repeatable? Well, maybe the nonsense is.   If something like ‘gravity’ is worshipped by the godless, and presented as fact, you can rest assured it is non-existent.

Soooo, life which is full of proof just as the eyes can see, and scripture which tells the truth, is traded for the guesswork of false science which relies on devilish faith in the godless suggestions, endless theories, fancy math that does not add up, and baffling explanations that are pure fraud, ALL with the desire to steal from God what is rightly His.

You know what I say? No, forget what I say, this is far better:

-Be still and know that I am God.

-The Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.

-Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

The speed at which the earth rotates is an easy proof. Circumference of the earth 24,901 ÷ the number of hours it takes for a revolution 24 = 1037 miles per hour.

  2. “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Act’s 17:28 tells us, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” Science is wonderful, awesome, amazing, but in the absence of God, whose breath do you plan to borrow so you can express all these known “facts?”

      Hi ms b!

God is right on the mark as He always is when He gives us a heads up on ‘science falsely called, eh?

Listening to these elite and pseudo intellectuals is a real task when they present so-called truth apart from THE Truth.

It is a barren and expansive wasteland of mental gymnastics. Painful to watch.

    In the beginning….God.

So simple a child can get it.

The lengths the scoffers will do, and the “proof” they will accept…astounding. Be nice to have that kind of enthusiasm for the work of the Kingdom, though.

It’s more than that W. It is the sale of science that does not add up with science itself.

There is zero proof the earth spins at 1,000 mph. There is zero proof the earth hurls through space.

Maybe the earth does not move AT ALL… A lot of rather intelligent and simple minded people have said as much, in agreement with what the eyes see. ‘)

  4. Science does in fact prove the existence of God, by the very standards that science uses to prove other things not seen by the naked eye.

And why would that not be so?

The alternative is that everything just happened all by itself which is ridiculous.

I’ve asked atheists many times to explain the ridiculous, but they just get mad and start foaming at the mouth:

you know, quoting the Bible, insulting the Virgin Mary, and getting mad at Noah for not bothering to pick up a mating pair of penguins down in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.

  5. Tricia says:

Degrasse has never impressed me, much less so lately with the incoherence nonsense he’s been posting as you outline. Bill Nye the so called Science guys is even worse.

Truth is truth and as you and I have discussed many times, God created the science that lies behind human discovery.

Works for me Colorstorm, but I’m afraid all the people who believe the whole world revolves around them are going to be terribly disappointed. 🙂

      Ha. True enough.

Btw, I wonder what your Dad thought about things like this, the idea of there being no curvature on the earth is fascinating.

      • My dad was always studying the paradox of time, physics. It is a bit funny, but we simply can’t measure speed, motion, force outside the context of time. So we have miles per hour or how long light takes to get from the sun, all measurements dependent on our own understanding of time.

“Time is an illusion, although a stubborn one,” or so said Einstein. Time isn’t really linear as we perceive it, which does throw a wrench in things. So the earth, a spinning globe at 1000 MPH and hurling through space at 67,000mph, perhaps, anything is possible, but you’d have to be kind of silly to believe this is established science as if someone is out there with a stop watch counting how fast we’re going, measuring such things according to our own concept of linear time and miles per hour.

Maybe there’s traffic cops out in the cosmos to make sure we aren’t speeding? I can just imagine us hurling through space and getting a ticket. 🙂

Yes, we need to remember that to the Lord a thousand years is as a day, and vice versa.

So we would be correct to assume that our concept of a bazillion mph is to Him but the speed of a school zone.

But your pop was a smart and good man it sounds. Of course, he left some good fruit behind.. 😉

        • tildeb says:

Not that you will grasp the concepts, but time is not an illusion; it is a property of entropy. That’s what allows cause to have an effect, not that you care. Without time, demonstrated by entropy, then there is no means to link causes to precede effect (so much for your God-as-the-First-Cause belief) and we would live in a universe where effects could just as easily POOF! causes into being. As one who has already embrace forces and agencies of Oogity Boogity and linked it to stuff by the magical means of POOF!ism already, you and all you other other Big Poof!ster Fans would be weirdly attracted to that idea, I suspect. Yet you still expect your cell phones and computers to work. Amazing cognitive disassociation.

What part pete? That there is no evidence of spin, speed, or of curvature?

      • KIA says:

Spin speed or curvature, no proof? You have truly gone insane. Do you now believe in a flat, stationary and non moving earth cs?
There is literally nothing that cannot be believed or disbelieved when once a person has given preeminence to a book claiming to be the word of god

        • ColorStorm says:

As wally said, this post is above the pay grade of certain people. The major point was missed entirely obviously by you also.

Perhaps you have FAITH that the earth spins……….that it moves……..yet, you have not seen it move one inch. You are relying on the math of others, and do not believe your own eyes.
          Wow. The faith it takes!!

Don’t go bringing your endless theories and opinions of things you have never seen. And don’t pretend to know things that even Mr Einstein was embarrassed by after years of fruitless conjecture. Careful now, takes quite a bit of faith to believe things you have never seen.

And by the way, your so called stone age men were light years ahead of you in astronomy.

        • KIA says:

Faith isn’t required where evidence suffices. Where evidence lacks, faith is all you have

        • ColorStorm says:

‘Now faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for.the EVIDENCE of things not seen.’

Yet the believer is considered delusional according to your own rules, while having ten thousand times the proof. Oh how you paint yourself into a corner.

That said, have YOU seen the earth move ONE inch, or are you happy relying on the so called learning of others.

        • KIA says:

Yes, cs. You are quite delusional. Admitting your addiction to bs is the first step toward Recovery

        • ColorStorm says:

Hmmm. I suggest you have another go at the life and times of Saul of Tarsus, then Paul, and consider for a moment that his epistles are impossible without the help of God Almighty.

NO MAN on earth could have written such matter of fact truth with a depth of a thousand layers.

Then of course there is his agreement as to the history of a man named Adam, and his knowledge of the first, second, and third heavens….

So yeah, delusional, that’s me. But addiction? Ha, I wished I had the focus of men of God such as Daniel, Mordecai, Timothy, Barnabas, and of course the steadfast resolve of that old fella Noah.

Heck, even Rahab puts me to shame. But gotta love Esther.

    • Wally Fry says:

Really? You are disappointed that none of us have taken Colorstorm to task? You guys don’t need the help of a man’s friends to take him to task. That’s some serious hubris there for sure. Good thing all you guys stand by, ready, to teach all of us to live out something you reject totally. Sheesh…that makes my brain hurt.

Seriously, though…is this the latest from the atheist playbook? Get the Christians to chew each other up?

You have actually missed the entire point here.

      • Peter says:

The point is Wally that ColorStorm made fun of some of the most reputable scientists in a way which is either grossly ignorant or profoundly misleading.

        • ColorStorm says:

          Hello pete?

It was Tesla who found Einstein’s claims fraudulent.

And Degrasse does not need my help to expose his godless and exaggerated nonsense. Just listen to any of his speeches.

So where is the ignorance? Where am I misleading? And where is YOUR proof that the earth races at 67,000mph….

        • Wally Fry says:

Actually, no…that wasn’t the point of the post. That’s number two favorite tactic in the atheist play book…tell a writer what they meant when they wrote it…to fit what you wish they would have said.

LOL. Hey…you been hanging around any of your friends lately? Mockery and fun is a way of life.

Of course every single one of you would say that is because we deserve it, right? Cus we are sooooooooooooooo stooopid, delusional, emotionally scarred. That, my friend is grossly ignorant or profoundly misleading. If only the rest of us would get as smart as you, all would be well.

You are better than this, Peter…I find myself disappointed in you actually.

Try again to understand the point here, instead of assigning it the meaning you want it to have.

  8. Citizen Tom says:

It actually is a whole lot easier to show that God exists than it is to prove the earth orbits the sun. Math is not required. Just logic. Is the proof perfectly satisfying? No, but scientific proofs are not perfectly satisfying either. We don’t have a complete understanding of anything. We just have models of causes and effects that that sort of work. What is gravity? What is energy? What is matter God knows, but we sure don’t. We just play with these toys the same way a child tinkers with his toys in a sandbox.

How would one prove the earth rotates once per day? How would one calculate the speed of the earth’s orbit around the sun? Well, the average citizen would have difficult time understanding the mathematical models used to do that, but what it come down to however is demonstrating the models are correct by predicting the course of the planets relative to each other. That is, we would predict where to look in sky to find a star or a planet.

What is funny about this post? Except for silly ridicule, the atheists had no idea how to respond. Obviously, they don’t understand enough science to know how to prove anything. Yet they demand proof that God exists? And that is the simpler problem.

CT, regarding your observation that atheists ‘had no idea how to respond.’

You are on to something there. I have seen this on countless occasions. It’s interesting and telling not only what is commented on, but what is NOT.

Some things are just too revealing. And of course, the logic of scripture silences nonsense and wins the day every time.

I suppose the brightness of day is just to punishing, And of course God is responsible for that light.

WE just ‘play with these toys.’ love that.
