Climate change baby

I just luv the stifling changes of the seasons, even now, with the inconvenient deep freeze here, and the blistering heat there. Hmm, where did I hear that so many thousands of years ago?

That’s right, He who created the dewdrop, the palm tree, the desert sand, the four winds, the snow, the cold, the currents of the great deep; He who said to the ocean’s waves: Stop right there at the shore! that’s HIM, God Almighty.

So the seasons belong to Him, and it’s wonderful to see many people complain about the ‘weather.’ It’s too hot, it’s too cold, it rains too much, it doesn’t rain enough,  the rivers are too high, the rivers are too low, it snows too much, it doesn’t snow enough, the grass doesn’t grow fast enough, the grass grows too slow, on and on.

But why is it wonderful? Because people are talking about the Creator, and may not even know it, thus in their oblivion are confirming God’s word. Their ‘science’ agrees with God, who does not care nor is moved by people’s petty opinions about cold and heat.

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Ah yes, the solid testimony of scripture, proving God can be trusted to keep His own word. Piece of cake for Him really.

So while the television lights up with prophets of doom and gloom spitting the end of the world because of airports closing and cold, I chuckle at just exactly how cold is cold.  No, humans are not whitetail deer like, where they can sit still for ten hours in -80 F brutal cold, and act like they are getting a sun tan in the Bahamas. If I were a godless evolutionist, I would file charges because man does not have leather for skin. It’s not fair I tell you, but who ya gonna call?

Cold and heat. Demonstrably proven, exactly the same way male and female are proven. The earth and all in it has a shelf life, and it is up to He who made the snow that decides when the last flake will fall, and how cold it will get. God is the Great climate changer, yet, He changes not.

Also, I asked a rather good question, and worthy of more air time. When you see the moon in this cold weather, and it looks so so close, yet so near in concern, did the thought ever cross your mind as to WHY there is only ONE moon?

The department of material sciences should be rather busy accepting all these grievances, yep, the moon needs to evolve and sprout out babies so one moon does not do all the work. And if you think you have a sound answer apart from God and scripture as to why there is one moon….. your brain just may be freeze-dried. Come inside, where it’s warm,  and enjoy thoughts of He who is like a consuming fire. But I digress.

  1. Beautiful, Colorstorm. Stay warm in your neck of the woods. Brrr, too cold for me.

Today it is a balmy 40, damp, and I declared to hubby, “it feels so right, so normal today!” He hushed me, “Shhh, people don’t like to hear the weather is normal.” Made me laugh! It’s so true, heaven forbid you suggest everything is fine, just the way God made it, to be expected. Spoils all the fun of a good and proper panic I guess.

I love how we went from global warming, to uh, so perhaps we meant global cooling, and now let’s just call it “climate change,” and cover all the bases.

Greetings msb. Yep, a bit frosty in these parts. I told the mrs. that you know it’s cold when 0′ is looking good! lol

That aside, there is a beauty in the cleanliness of the cold air that makes you feel alive in ways otherwise not known, but I do get a kick out of the animals who laugh at such cold.

Just as they were designed. But tkx much for not mentioning algore. )

God has the drop on this weather thing though. 😉

It’s a little chilly out west here today, it’s dropped in to the 50. Oh the horror!

I do know what you mean about the beauty of the stillness of cold. I remember that growing up in New England. My nose hairs may have been frozen but it sure was pretty outside.

God’s got this weather thing for sure. 🙂
